Coaching youth is all about Patience…………….
Patience when they look at you with the blank stare.
Patience when they do the exact opposite of what you just told them.
Patience when skills are being taught but all you see is bad habits being formed.
Patience when what you see on the court or the field doesn’t resemble the game you love at all.
Be patient, be calm, it’s just a game and you are making a difference. Patience will prevail, skills will be learned, those that listen and practice will move on and move up!
